We are delighted to let you know that we are soon to be joined by another experienced and talented cranial osteopath, Juliet Stokoe, who will be offering appointments from Monday 5th November. This means that we can now offer you more opportunities to access this highly sought-after and wonderfully gentle and effective form of treatment.
Juliet graduated in 2009 with a first-class honours degree from the European School of Osteopathy in Kent and has since been working in Hampshire, Berkshire and Wiltshire. During this time, she has undertaken postgraduate training in paediatric osteopathy at the Osteopathic Children’s Centre and in child mental health at the Tavistock Centre. It is our great good fortune that Juliet is now in the process of relocating to Cornwall and is coming to join us here at Wadebridge Ostopaths.
As with Cate Hands, our long-standing cranial osteopath, Juliet’s cranial treatments are eminently suitable for babies and young children, as well as older children and adults who prefer this calming and very subtle form of osteopathy. Where appropriate and with your agreement, however, Juliet may also introduce some other techniques, including soft tissue massage and joint mobilisation.
As an added bonus, Juliet has a background in therapeutic massage and has kindly agreed to stand in for our massage therapist Grace, who is taking some time off.
To start with, appointments with Juliet will be available on Mondays, but with plans for a second day soon. There is also the possibility of a small number of Saturday appointments by prior agreement.
Please call our receptionist on 01208 812048 to book an appointment.
