Complementary therapies

A complementary therapy can be defined as a treatment or therapy that may be applied alongside and in support of conventional medical methods. (By contrast, an alternative therapy can be defined as a form of treatment used in place of conventional medicine.)

Complementary therapists stress that their work is based on the interaction between the body, the mind and the energy system that combines them. This belief is known as holistic medicine and contrasts with conventional (allopathic) medical views, which focus on trauma and illness and medical intervention using surgery and drugs.

Alongside our core treatments, Wadebridge Osteopaths is pleased to offer the following complementary therapies:

Sports Massage

Craniosacral Therapy

These complementary therapies are currently offered by Grace Retallick and Lily Dempsey.

Osteopathy, cranial osteopathy, massage, acupuncture, counselling, craniosacral therapy, reflexology and reiki
