I had been suffering neck and back ache for over a week and finally decided to seek professional help. I made an appointment with Ann Retallick and wish I had made it sooner. I came out feeling much better. Ann treated my good side and inflamed side. Next time I come to Cornwall I will make another appointment. As a visitor/tourist it is often hard to decide who to trust. I would definitely recommend.

I have been receiving cranial osteopathy for the past year at Wadebridge Osteopaths from the wonderful Kate Hands and can safely say I’ve never looked back. It’s made such a difference to my life and would recommend it to anyone.

I have been a regular patient of Ann’s for about 7 years. I had a double hip replacement in 1993, another replacement in 2014 and … a shoulder replacement in 2015. I have always found Ann’s treatments to be very helpful for pain relief and I have no hesitation in recommending her to other people.

I realised that I had been suffering with neck pain for 4 months. It was making driving literally ‘a pain in the neck’ and impacting on other aspects of my work. I found myself taking painkillers and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs everyday and had even visited a physiotherapist without any benefit. I decided I needed to do something different.

Wadebridge Osteopaths fitted me in on the day I rang. After the first appointment, there was a definite improvement and, after the second visit, I could drive without the pain recurring. After the third visit, the neck is almost like new. I only wish I had gone earlier.

The premises are comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful.

I am normally an active 67-year old who loves the outdoors. Earlier in the Summer, I started getting severe pain in my pelvic region, extending down my leg. So bad was it that I had to give up my part time job and get someone in to cut my grass.

After following the doctor’s treatment of pain killers and a series of treatments with a physiotherapist, I was still no better.

At my daughter’s suggestion I tried an osteopath – Lloyd Pope. Why didn’t I do it before?!

After a few sessions with Lloyd and following his advice, I am back to myself again. Today I have really enjoyed a morning in the garden and am just back from a walk around the cliffs with my dog. Wonderful!

I can’t recommend Lloyd’s treatment highly enough – it’s certainly given me my life back.

Fantastic service with excellent advice and after care. You make me feel better and help me to understand how to help myself with good posture and practice.

I was a marathon runner for many years but, following a double hip replacement, I decided to spread the load and started taking part in competitive triathlons. This year, I completed the Cornwall Triathlon series, finishing 4th in my age group (50 to 59 years). Between training, I run a smallholding of sheep, ducks, geese and llamas.

Before my last triathlon, I had been suffering some discomfort and tightness in my lower back but had ignored it. After finishing the triathlon, I was in a lot of pain and during the course of the next day managed to send my back into an unbelievable spasm of pain, which also went down the front of my right knee and shin. I phoned Wadebridge Osteopaths and they fitted me in on the following day.

Using two walking sticks and being dropped off immediately outside the centre, in extreme pain and huge discomfort, I only just managed to make my way inside. Lloyd diagnosed me as having a prolapsed disc.

After six weeks, following the treatments and the exercises that Lloyd gave me, I am now back to a full regime of training, which has only been possible because of the accurate diagnosis, excellent treatment, advice and appropriate mobility exercises.

I have been treated by Annie since a car accident. Thanks to her treatment, I made a full recovery. She gave me excellent advice and exercises to do myself, to maintain my fitness levels and reduce my pain.

I would recommend her (and have done) to anyone. She is an excellent practitioner and osteopath.
