VIRUS CONTROL UPDATE – AUGUST 2024

In line with current guidance, we feel we have acheived a good balance between making your visit feel relaxed and natural whilst still keeping both you and our colleagues safe.

The wearing of masks in healthcare settings is no longer mandatory. However, we absolutely respect your right to choose what you are comfortable with, so you are welcome to wear a mask if you wish to do so. You can also ask your practitioner to wear a mask, if it makes you feel more comfortable. Your practitioner may have made the personal choice to continue to wear a mask anyway. We would also ask you to consider wearing a mask if you are showing signs of a cold or sore throat. We will do the same.

We are still hand sanitising / washing and will ask you to do the same when you arrive. We are also still wiping down contact surfaces regularly.

Please call us to rebook your appointment if you think or know you have covid or any other viral infection, even if it is at short notice.

If you are concerned that you or someone in your family might have covid, you can use the NHS 111 Online service to check the symptoms and to get the latest advice on looking after yourself and your loved ones.
