Juliet graduated in 2009 with a first-class honours degree from the European School of Osteopathy in Kent and then worked in practices in Hampshire, Berkshire and Wiltshire. During this time, she undertook further specialised training in paediatric osteopathy at the Osteopathic Children’s Centre and in child mental health at the Tavistock Centre in London. It is our great good fortune that Juliet is in now in the process of relocating to Cornwall and is joining us at Wadebridge Osteopaths.
As with all osteopaths, Juliet’s original training included the use of a wide variety of techniques. However, her passion now lies in using cranial osteopathy to relax and soothe babies and young children, as well as with older children and women, including mums-to-be, to help improve wellbeing.
Juliet’s cranial treatments are eminently suitable for babies and young children, as well as for older children and adults who require this calming and very subtle form of osteopathy. Where appropriate and agreeable, though, Juliet may also introduce some other techniques, including soft tissue massage and joint mobilisation.
As an added bonus, Juliet has a background in therapeutic massage and has kindly agreed to stand in for our massage therapist Grace, who is taking some time off.
To start with, Juliet will be offering appointments on Mondays, but with plans for a second day beginning soon.
Please call our receptionist on 01208 812048 to book an appointment or to arrange an informal, no-obligation chat.
